Mandy Hedges Counselling

Registered BACP Counsellor

A very warm welcome to my website.

I am Mandy Hedges, a fully qualified experienced, compassionate counsellor.

?Sometimes life can be difficult and throws us challenges that we find hard to deal with alone.
You may find you need someone to talk to and explore your thoughts and feelings.
Friends and family can help, but sometimes can be too close and we may not want to worry them?.
Counselling can offer you a safe, non- judgemental, confidential place to explore the things that maybe troubling you.
Talking about your problems with someone independent before they get out of hand can be the first step to change.

Some people contact me even before a problem arises. Others get in touch as soon as they become aware of a problem and, for others, it?s when the problem has become too much to cope with on their own.
I hope to provide you with some answers to any questions you may have about counselling or me on my website.
"Am I living in a way which is deeply satisfying to me,
and which truly expresses me??

Anti Bulling

Dear Mandy We are thrilled to announce the launch of our first campaign - Breaking the barriers of bullying. This week is Anti-Bullying Week in the UK and we wanted to do our bit to encourage those affected to reach out for support. We believe bullying creates barriers for those affected, making them feel isolated and small. By raising awareness and providing tailored advice, we want to break these barriers. Our survey of over 1,000 people found that while one in two of us are affected by bullying, a staggering 70% don???t seek support. We want to change this. Our bullying page now contains a variety of content including advice for parents and advice for employers. To spread our message far and wide, we created an anti-bullying video which is already reaching thousands of people on social media and YouTube. We also created a ???wall of hope??? where visitors can record a supportive message to victims of bullying. If you would like to share your own message, please don???t hesitate to record a video. Finally we wrote a series of blog posts to accompany the campaign including personal experiences and advice from you, our members. On this note, we would like to extend our gratitude to all those who took part in the campaign - your expertise helped shape the campaign into what it is. If you would like to be involved in future campaigns, please add your name to our press list. This is just the first of many and we are excited to work with you on initiatives we???re passionate about.
