I am married with grown up children, love animals and meeting people. I am originally from Essex and after the death of three family member's, moved to Greece with my family, where we lived for four years.
It was on returning to the UK in 2004, I started my Counselling journey, first with CPACB certificate in Counselling Skills and Studies. Following that I studied at Strode College in Somerset and Redlands Training Centre in Bournemouth, gaining CPCAB Diploma's in Therapeutic Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. (CBT) Levels 4 and 5.
As part of my training I had over 50 hours of personal counselling, so have experienced therapy sessions. My counsellor was extremely professional and understanding and helped me over come my unresolved grief.
I had volunteer placements with Exeter Drug Project, in Weymouth, where I worked with the families of clients with addiction issues. In Turning Point in Yeovil I worked with clients with drug and alcohol addictions. In the Balsam Centre in Wincanton, where I worked with individuals experiencing on going poor mental health and clients with learning disabilities.
Qualifying in 2009, I set up my own private practice, working from the Balsam Centre, where I continued to see clients.
I moved to Suffolk in 2013 and again set up in private practice and now have nearly 900 clients hours. I work with a diverse range of clients, with different issues.

I am a registered Member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and Accredited with The National Counselling Society and I abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have a enhanced DBS and am fully insured. I receive on going supervision, one of the requirements of the societies.
I am also committed to my own person development and attend workshops, training and reading.
